Proposals are immensely special moments for many couples. When Jonathan invited me to shoot his in San Francisco, I was a bit apprehensive for fear of missing the right shots or my lens being out of focus. Plus, I’d never done a photoshoot proposal before!
Despite its location, nested at an intersection where several touristy places coincide, the Embarcadero Center was surprisingly empty for a weekend night. This worked to our advantage while shooting Peter and Vanessa's engagement shoot. There were tons of patterns and textures in tiles and buildings, but we were going for simplicity (and silly).
While this time of year means heading back to school for students, Abby and Shane took me to Stanford University for their engagement photoshoot. Despite many trips to Sprinkles in Palo Alto, this was my first time finally exploring the campus. With golden hour at its peak and tourist volume at its trough, we took full advantage of different shoot locations until sunset. The natural elements paired perfectly with Abby and Shane's gorgeous smiles and their classic denim-and-white outfit combo.
